Leading DOOH and transit media major Srishti is organising a three-day heart health screening camp at the Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the new Integrated Terminal Building at the airport and the official inauguration of the OOH firm’s DOOH media displays at the airport. It may be noted that Srishti holds exclusive advertising rights at this modern airport for a period of 7 years.

Srishti is organising the heart health camp in collaboration with the healthcare major Narayana Hrudayalaya, Narayana Health City, Bengaluru, from July 18-20.

The heart health screening camp, open to the general public free of charge, is screening up to 150 persons each day, for symptoms of heart-related ailments such as chest pain, shortness of breath, irregular heartbeat, chest tightness, radiating pain from shoulders, weakness, dizziness, sweating, and nausea.

The screening include BMI, BP, RBS, ECG, ECHO, and a consultation. Interested persons could register for the camp by filling out an online form: https://tinyurl.com/aaihealthcamp, call 99452 79577, scan a QR code, or visiting the pass section at the airport.

Airport Director Devender Yadav said the camp's aim is to raise awareness about heart health, identify cardiac risks and abnormalities early, and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Emphasising the importance of timely diagnosis and intervention, he noted, "Most of us do not know how to handle sudden cardiac attacks and when to see a doctor. Timely diagnosis and intervention play a key role in saving lives. After all, 'Ye Dil Ka Mamla Hai'."

The media inauguration and opening of the health camp was attended by Vishwendra, DANICS Secretary (IP&T), Nandini Maharaj, IAS, Airport Director Devender Yadav, Srishti Founder Indira Kumar, and Srishti Country Head Rajesh Menon, and other dignitaries.

Speaking about the camp, Indira Kumar, Founder, Srishti, said that while the group is laser focused on expanding its business horizons, it is the group’s stated mission to align the business approach with social responsibility. “Healthcare is one area where we as a group are particularly keen to make a difference through our community-focused initiatives. The first anniversary celebrations at the airport and the official inauguration of our own media at the airport created the right occasion for us to organise the heart health camp that is benefiting a large number of people. What is equally important is that we have the very best Narayana Hrudayalaya to conduct the screening.”

It may be recalled that the New Integrated Terminal Building at the airport was inaugurated on July 18th, 2023, by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi via video conferencing. The airport spans an impressive 40,837 square meters. Designed to handle up to 1,200 passengers during peak hours and approximately 5 million passengers annually, the terminal's architecture, inspired by nature, features a shell-shaped structure reflecting the sea and islands.
