RailTel publishes RFP to establish RDN for two regions

The participants have been asked to submit bids by the 4th, May 2020 and meetings will be held online

RailTel, the official body of the Indian Railway managing the RDN across the Indian railway stations, has launched an RFP to refurbish the DOOH screens across India. There are 2 regions mentioned in the tender – North and East is one, and South, West is the other. The scope of work has been divided into three phases – Build, Operate and Sustain, Innovate & Unlock Value. Coming to the provisions, RailTel, amongst other responsibilities, shall provide internet bandwidth, network, DC and DR services on chargeable basis. The EMD amount is Rs. 1 crore for each region.

The last day to submit the bids is 4th of May, 2020 and a pre-bid meeting will be held on a video conference call on the 1st of April due to the nation lockdown.
