New York-based digital out-of-home (DOOH) consultancy Tiger Party has recently completed its first Asian signage project, Taipei Lumitree, located near Taipei 101. This LED media installation was constructed in partnership with Kaiyue Construction and operated by Tiger Party. This installation has been shortlisted for the Digital Signage Awards 2025 in the Immersive & Experiential Environment category.

Spanning 254 square metres, Taipei Lumitree features a 360-degree LED tree and a 10-metre-high LED wall. It uses the most advanced P2.9 application technology and transparent LED walls with a 75% and above transparency rate. The installation delivers a visual experience reminiscent of New York’s Times Square but allows audiences to step into the content, immersing themselves in a dynamic environment of light and sound.

Steven Lin, Chairman of Kaiyue Construction, stated: “Taipei Lumitree is an innovative and unique landmark project. Events like Nuit Blanche Taipei 24′ have shown how this venue can transform urban spaces and provide a platform for creative engagement.”

Rafale Chang, CEO of Tiger Party remarked, “We are thrilled to bring the technology and commercial model of New York’s Times Square to Taiwan. Collaborating with Taiwan’s exceptional creative teams in an international city like Taipei, we aim to create an unprecedented visual feast for the city, filled with endless creativity and energy that will attract crowds.”

In alignment with its commitment to supporting emerging talent, Tiger Party has partnered with HUG, a global community of artists and art lovers founded by Randi Zuckerberg and Debbie Soon. Celebrating its grand opening, a total of 12 promising artists from across the globe were featured, making Taipei Lumitree a platform for global artistic expression.
