WOW unveils “The Gateway”—a bold, first-of-its-kind landmark that redefines the entrance to the city’s thriving Sports & Entertainment District. Featuring a unique convex screen with full-motion 3D capabilities, The Gateway makes a powerful statement with its expansive structure that is literally larger than the roadway it towers over and situated just steps from the stadium strip.
“The Gateway is the start and end of the Sports & Entertainment District experience,” says Shawn Krantz, CMO of WOW. “When Rams, Chargers, and Clippers fans head to SoFi Stadium and the Intuit Dome, or concertgoers make their way to the Kia Forum, they’ll pass through this iconic new gateway, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. Think of it like the beginning of the game-day tunnel.”
Inglewood: A Hub for Global Sports & Entertainment Inglewood’s rapid transformation has established it as a premier destination for world-class sports and entertainment. With over 500 events annually attracting millions of visitors, the district is home to three major sports franchises and will host marquee events like the 2026 FIFA World Cup, 2026 NBA All-Star Game, 2027 Super Bowl, and 2028 Summer Olympics.
“This sign reflects Inglewood’s transformation,” says Scott Krantz, CEO of WOW. “The City of champions has become a cultural powerhouse, thanks to the visionary leadership of Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts. The Gateway enhances this identity and becomes a core part of the fan experience, offering brands the opportunity to be part of unforgettable moments.”

With its radiant City of Champions inscription, glimmering under the California sun, The Gateway becomes a photo-worthy destination for fans and visitors alike, much like other globally recognized gateways, such as the Hollywood Sign.
Strategically positioned at the mouth of the district, The Gateway offers brands an unparalleled storytelling platform. This dynamic structure seamlessly integrates with the high energy and excitement of the events nearby, providing advertisers a direct connection to a highly engaged audience. “Game days are memorable from start to finish—the energy, the rituals, the excitement,” says Shawn. “The Gateway will be a defining part of those memories, ensuring that brands are woven into the fan experience in a way that resonates far beyond the event itself.”
