Jun Sakurai, CEO, LIVE BOARD, Japan to speak on globalisation of DOOH business at OAC 2022
Jun Sakurai has more than 20 years of experience working in the media & agency industry; before taking over as CEO of LIVE BOARD, Jun was CEO of dentsu X Vietnam, and MD of dentsu X China before that.
Digitalisation of OOH has set in motion globalisation of DOOH, evidenced by cross-border investments in media assets, global adtech platforms, and seamless simultaneous launch of international brand campaigns in different markets. Emerging OOH markets like India are poised to engage more deeply with this global DOOH ecosystem.
In keeping with these trends, Jun Sakurai, CEO of LIVE BOARD, Japan will be speaking on the theme of ‘Globalisation of DOOH business: key success factors’ in the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) that will be organised at Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, Mumbai on August 17-18, 2022.
Jun Sakurai joined LIVE BOARD in April 2021 and has been CEO of the company since June. Taking advantage of more than 20 years of experience working in the media & agency industry, his task is to accelerate growth of LIVE BOARD, the first programmatic DOOH company in Japan based on NTT DOCOMO’s big data, which is arguably the most advanced in the world currently.
Jun’s work experience at dentsu since 1998 has equipped him with in-depth experience and strong expertise in IMC. He tackles clients’ diverse marketing issues by building and managing integrated in-house service teams and collaborating with other partner companies. He worked with dentsu Japan until 2015, before taking over as Managing Director of dentsu X China. During 2019-21, Jun was CEO of dentsu X Vietnam.
