Eifel Tower erected in Mumbai as part of promotion for ‘Bawaal’
The structure was juxtaposed with the billboard in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
Bawaal, an Amazon original movie starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, has become the 4th most searched movie or TV show on Amazon Prime Video thanks in no small part to its marketing activities.
One such campaign was executed by Rapport in collaboration with media owning firm Petals Communication in Juhu, Mumbai where a billboard with the movie’s poster was accentuated by the addition of an Eifel Tower as a major plot of the movie is shot in Europe.
The Eifel Tower replica measures 60 feet in height and is 22 feet wide and sits on a 7×22 feet platform. “It was challenging task to create the structure especially during ‘Red Alert’ in Mumbai due to heavy rainfall. It was a tedious task and we were apprehensive of possible short circuits but in the end, we managed to achieve our goal thanks to our dedicated team” a spokesperson for the agency said.
The campaign was live for a total of 7 days. Bawaal released on 21st July on Amazon Prime Video.
