Jury rounds for Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2023 conclude with winners to be announced on 29th July
The esteemed jury evaluated and shortlisted entries from across 6 categories
The 2023 edition of the Outdoor Advertising Awards’ Jury has come to a close. The judging was conducted in two rounds, with the first round held in Delhi and the final round in Mumbai. The jury evaluated a total of 288 entries of which 158 were shortlisted for final assessment to determine the metal winners.
The first round of the OAA Jury, chaired by Azazul Haque, CCO, Media.Monks India, was held in New Delhi and evaluated Brand categories, International campaigns, Public and Social Service categories along with Media Format Innovation. The esteemed jury comprised of Siddharth Anand Jha (GM – Marcom, Havells India), Ruchika Gupta (Marketing Head, Beam Suntory India), Amit Sinha (GM – Marketing, PNB MetLife), Goldee Patnaik (VP – Marketing & Communications, itel Mobile India), Anirban Paul Chowdhury (Head Marketing – PVC, Skipper Limited) and Archana Aggarwal (VP – Media, Airtel).
The second, and final round of judging was held in Mumbai on 7th July. The jury was chaired by Santosh ‘Paddy’ Padhi, CCO Wieden+Kennedy India. The jury was divided into two groups; Group B evaluated Media Plan of the Year (National and Local) assessing and questioning presentation by numerous agencies. Group C on the other hand evaluated the Special Categories.
Jury members present at the Mumbai round included Ritu Mittal (Head of Marketing & Digital, Bayer), Arkaprava ‘Arko’ Ray (Head – Marketing Strategy, HSBC India), Jignesh Dawda (SVP, Bandhan Mutual Fund), Sonam Pradhan(Integrated Media & Advertising Head, Mahindra Group), Rohit Markanday (DGM, Trade Marketing, Adani Wilmar), Pramod Patil (VP and Head of Media, Kotak Group), Girish Ahuja (Head of Marketing, Hamilton Housewares), Rohan Ekbote (GM, Vodafone Idea), Udit Mittal (DGM, Tata Motors), Saket Agarwal (GM – Brand & Marketing, D’Decor), Vipul Mishra (Head – Strategic Alliances and Brand Partnerships, Paytm), and Geetanjali Sachwani (VP & Head of Marketing – India, Franklin Templeton).
The OAA has a robust, tech enabled judging process with E&Y as the partner, and is facilitated by a smooth and easy interface. Winners of OAA 2023 will receive the coveted Metals at the Outdoor Advertising Awards function at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on July 29th evening following the conclusion of OAC 2023. The Awards will be given away by highly accomplished Brand Marketers, and International OOH leaders.
