LPFLEX Sign System India, bags contract Expansion of RGIA Hyderabad for Design, Supply, Fabrication & Installation of Wayfinding & Navigational Signages
The global manufacturing company has been assigned to install over 1100 signages across Passenger Terminal Building & other areas of the airport
LPFLEX Sign System India, a global sign manufacturing company aging over 97 years in operations, has bagged the contract to design, manufacture and install the new wayfinding & navigational signages for GMR Hyderabad international airport’s expansion. GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL), which runs the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad in Telangana plans to double the capacity to handle 50 million passengers per annum (MPPA) from the existing 25 MPPA.
LPFLEX has been given a brief to design the signages and way finders up to the international look & feel in terms of the design and quality. There are over 1100 signs to be installed in two phases; the first phase has to be completed by March 2021 and second phase installation by September 2021. The signages will be made in the finest craftsmanship using various mixed of raw materials.
The signage company has won this contract for its finest work and supreme quality work. The company will be sourcing the raw material from the international market to meet the requirement. Moreover, the company has its internal quality check control to ensure the best quality of raw material is used.
Considering the current situation, the company sees two major hurdles- importing the raw material and manpower deployment on the site for installations with safety measures incorporated. However, with the given experience and resources in place, the company is quite confident about the completion of the project with desired results.
