Smart Asia India 2019 brings Taiwan DOOH solutions to India
The Smart Asia exhibition 2019, brought various Taiwan based players offering unique DOOH solutions for the developing Indian Digital Display market
Smart Asia India 2019, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), held in Mumbai, gave a platform to Taiwan companies to showcase their smart technology and invest in India. The exhibition showcases 50 well-known Taiwan companies, including Acer, Asus and Delta Electronics, which also brought an emphasis on Indian digital display solutions such as Nexcom and ATouch Technologies Co., Ltd. displayed their DOOH and software integrated products to broaden the advertisement opportunities in India.
A Taiwan based company, Nexcom International Co., Ltd. displayed their screen essentially designed for elevator advertising. The digital screen, integrated with backend AI software being fed information about viewers through a camera can be programmed to display ads according to the identity, gender, mood, age, etc. allowing customization to the viewer experience.
“We believe that AI enabled digital screen can better help the advertising experience. This technology is used in corporate elevators and by identifying the information of the person through a camera, our PowerDigiS software can segregate and classify the ads for each individual,” said Eva Chou, the Product Manager of Nexcom said in an exclusive conversation with Media4Growth.
Another company, ATouch Technologies Co., Ltd. had introduced their transparent digital screens which are interactive in nature. The technology is being used primarily in malls in Taiwan. The company is interested in bringing this technology to India to tap the growing market for digital screens in India.
