Madurai, Tiruchirappalli divisions invite EoI, bids for ad rights

Southern Railway’s different divisions have called for bids for ad rights on different formats through allotment systems:

• Madurai Division has called for an Expression of interest (EOI) for submitting ideas that help Railway increase its share of Non Fare Revenue. Railway decided to open its doors to any ideas or concepts from the public that promises more generation of Non Fare Revenue. The focus of this scheme shall be on all innovative ideas, concepts, themes etc., that have not been tested before and with potential to enhance Non fare Revenue earnings. This concept will be called by name “New Innovative Non-Fare Revenue Ideas Scheme”( NINFRIS). This scheme is open for one year from 28.5.18.

• Tiruchirappalli Division has invited Separate Sealed Tenders in Two Packet System for Awarding Contracts for Displaying Advertisements on OOH assets at 15 stations in the Tiruchchirappalli Division for a period of 3 years. All 15 stations have different areas of display with different assessed earning potential mentioned in the tender. The successful bidder shall display commercial advertisements in the designated area for boards, hoardings, LED boards, glow sign boxes and scrollers. The last submission date is November 23, 2018.

• Tiruchirappalli Division has re-tendered to award contract for displaying advertisements through vinyl wrapping on the exterior of coaches of the following Express/Super Fast Trains with primary maintenance at Tiruchchirappalli Division for a period of 5 years. The tender will be of two packet system. Packet A will contain the technical bid and Packet B will contain the financial bid. Packet A will be opened on 20.11.2018 at 15:30 hrs. There are total 6 trains with different number of coaches running from Chennai to Kanyakumari. The last date to submit bid is November 20, 2018 where bid packet A will also open on the same day.

• Tiruchirappalli Division has also invited bids for awarding contract for displaying advertisements through vinyl wrapping on the exterior of coaches of Passenger Trains originating from Tiruchchirappalli Division for a period of 5 years. The tender will be of two packet system. Packet A will contain the technical bid and Packet B will contain the financial bid. Packet A will be opened on 19.11.18 at 15:30 hrs. The date of opening of Packet B will be intimated to the eligible bidders. There are a bunch of trains running between different stations such as Tiruchchirappalli, Puduchery and Tirupathy. The tender date opening is November 19, 2018.
