Creativity without strategy is art and creativity with strategy is advertisement. The adage fits completely in today’s world where the marketers are leaving no stone unturned to attract the eyeballs. The conversion of static billboards into digital prints is one such example of the statement. As the DOOH market is gaining traction in India, there is growing demand for rolling out technologies to suit the needs of contemporary times. Addressing the concern, digital signage solutions firm Xtreme Media recently launched its ‘Play’ series, an android digital signage media player.
Designed for a variety of applications, the series has three modules viz. Entry, Medium and Industry. Powered by Quadcore processor, the Play series can be used to manage either few screens meant for indoor applications or a huge network of displays installed across the city. Weighing around 150-550 grams, the XM series can be wired to the screens without much cabling which makes it a robust, compact and economical digital signage media player. The Xtreme Media team said, “ With embedded OS, the Play series is a cost-effective media player available with many latest features like web-based digital signage solution, support for portrait as well as landscape mode of display, smart download option, USB support, reporting dashboard, etc. The digital signage media player from the Play series is successfully managing a network of LED billboards in Kolkata”.
