Laqshya Airport Media goes big with Samsung S5 at Hyderabad airport
Laqshya Airport Media has used prominent external and internal media units in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad for the one-month campaign
In building fresh excitement around the launch of Samsung’s new masterpiece S5, Laqshya Airport Media has executed an eye-catching campaign of the brand at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. To grab the attention of travelers at different junctures of their presence at the airport, Laqshya Airport Media has used both external and internal media units there. The campaign is spread over a one-month period.
In the approach area of the airport, Laqshya Airport Media has used two signature media units called Triple Sided Double Decker (TSDD), each with six faces and a total display area of 5,400 sq. feet. This is complemented with three Check-in Hall Spectaculars which are very large and dominant media units with 360 degree visibility. Each of three units measures 520 sq. ft, ensuring 100% visibility for the brand from every corner of the check-in hall.
The displays have been positioned in a manner that both inbound and departing domestic and international passengers get to see the campaign. Commenting on the campaign execution, Jude de Valliere, Senior Vice-President, Laqshya Airport Media, said: “We had recommended the complementing media strategy to Samsung where the passenger audience is exposed to the same creative twice – once outside the PTB (Passenger Terminal Building) via the external media units and then inside the PTB via internal media units. Research shows that complementing media units in this way enhances the noticeability of any campaign by nearly 70%! Through this unique branding, I am certain that Samsung will be able to connect with both domestic and international travellers.
