Xtreme Media installs conclave, oval LED displays at T2 of Mumbai International Airport
Xtreme Media has installed the concave and oval LED display screens at the Duty Free Shopping (a JV between DFS & Flemingo) zone of the newly built T2 of Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport
On this, Manishi Sanwal, MD, DFS India, stated, “Xtreme Media has installed a unique 28 ft concave LED display and a first of its kind perfect oval display having circumference of 75 ft in the duty free area of Mumbai International Airport T2. Xtreme Media provided us end-to-end solution from LED hardware and software right up to content creation which boosts DFS’s promotions & branding. Duty free area at airports is one of the most visited places by commuters.
Sanket Rambhia, Director Xtreme Media, said, “There are numerous international examples of LED display advertising at airports. In India T2 is the first one to install such display formats. Xtreme Media is also powering these displays with its content management services to create a perfect blend of content and display. Our focus towards this project was to create a grand and unique in-store experience for Mumbai Duty Free. We wanted to monetise the average visiting time of the customer by showcasing him/her a complete overview of latest offers, products and branding.
Concave shape of this huge LED display definitely makes every viewer stop and look at it for at least few seconds. 4mm true color technology ensures the crystal clear picture quality for both curved and oval display. Curved screen is majorly used to display images, video or flash ads. Oval display is effectively showcasing text and animation for the branding of Mumbai Duty Free.
